In the 1980's Dean guitars were very cutting edge (figuratively and literally). Dimebag Darrell's heavy metal influenced Dean to collaborate with the what Darrell named the razorback, a modified version of the Dean ML. Dimebag used the Dean ML in his early career. In 2005 Dean Guitars released the new Dime Tribute line of ML guitars. This is a new 2007 import version with hardshell case from Warpdrive Music, an authorized Dean Dealer.
